Influence of mass of cone spring on oscillatory period

Abstract: Considering the mass of the spring itself,an energy method is adopted to analyze the total kinetic energy of the truncated cone-shaped spring system.An accurate expression of the effective mass coefficient is derived by introducing the shape function.And the range of the effective mass coeffiicient is between 1 /5 and 8 /15.
